Jim Divan 1st masters single, Danny O'Neill 3rd, Hunter Bingham 4th, Eric Divan 13th junior single.

Danny O'Neill and Hunter Bingham Win the double at Navy Day Regatta, Jim Divan wins masters 1x at head of the Passaic for the 4th time. Eric Divan placed 5th in the junior 1x. Good luck to all racing at Head of the Charles next weekend.
Wow 3 juniors winning 3 different head races. Danny O'Neill 1st in the single at head of the riverfront in Hartford CT. Eric Divan 1st in the single at Green Mtn Head race. Hunter Bingham 1st in the single at Kings Head 2 yrs in a row. Good job. 
GMS Regatta is one of the longest head races of the season with Masters doing 10k and juniors doing 6k. Jim Divan cracked the top 10 in the masters 1X. Eric Divan got 8th in the jr. 1X. Danny O'Neill and Hunter Bingham won the junior 2X 
2 East End rowers make finals at Club Nationals in Cooper River NJ. this past weekend. Ali Simmons got fifth in the women's Jr. A single, and Dan O'Neill got third in the mens JR. A single. Very impressive results under any conditions but the fact that they were both Light weights competing against the heavies makes it even more impressive.
Bri Ristau and Ali Simmons win Navy Regatta in there singles. They will be rowing together this summer in a double.
Stotesbury Cup is back in Riverhead. Congratulations to Eric Divan and Danny O'Neill on winning the grand daddy of all scholastic races.

Congratulations to Mercy HS on there medals at LI Championships. 1st place Elisabeth Parillo G jr 1x. 2nd place Kara Reese and Elisabeth Parillo G jr 2x. 1st place G novice 4+. 
Eric Divan and Danny O'Neill Do it again This time at the Cooper Cup. 
Also rowing for Mercy HS were Kara Reese and Elizabeth Parillo with a win in the JV 2X.

Also rowing for EE were Bri Ristau 2nd pl Hunter Bingham 4th and a composite quad from EE and Sagamore.

Racing has begun with the first Manny flick race in Philly. Co's Kids are picking up where they left off. Bri Ristau 1st, Hunter Bingham 2nd, Eric Divan 2nd (missing first by a half second ) , Danny O'Neill 3rd. Congratulations.

Another season is coming to an end with another successful Snowflake Regatta. This year we launched from a new dock purchased with grant money from Suffolk County and assembled by EE volunteers. This years event saw almost 500 rowers and spectators in the thousands. Thanks to all the volunteers that made this possible. Race Results
US Rowing Speed Order is one of the best ID races in the country. East End sent 4 rowers. Results - Danny O'Neill 4th, Hunter Bingham 5th, Eric Divan 11th, Bri Ristau 6th. Bri also sent me some great video of some elite rowers Check it out. Bri's Video
Jim Divan wins Head of the Riverfront in Hartford Ct. Eric Divan 8th in jr. 1X and 3rd in 2X with doubles partner Danny O'Neill. Hunter Bingham 3rd jr. 1X. Danny O'Neill is in great form heading to U.S. Rowing speed order next weekend. Congratulations 1st Place jr 1X
East End had a big weekend in Philly at the HOSR ( despite the weather ). Jim Divan raced to a 4th pl. against a very fast field in the masters 1X. Co's Kids did it again in the Jr. 1X. Danny O'Neill 2nd, Hunter Bingham 3rd, and Eric Divan 4th. Co's Kids also teamed up with Sagamore in the Jr. 4X and came away with gold. Bri Ristau appears to be unstoppable with another win in the Jr. 1X. Congratulations.
HOCR. It was a great weekend in Boston. Mother nature cooperated with light winds and warm temps. EE members and alumni were there and racing hard. Jim Divan started in the first event and Dylan Gould finished in the last. And in between were Kate Hale, Dan Johnson, Eric Divan, Danny O'Neill, Alex Palmaccio,and Elizabeth Hughes. Congratulations to east end rowers this weekend. With Head of the Charles coming EE rowers are showing a lot of speed.The double of Danny O'Neill and Eric Divan won Kings Head and Navy Day in Philly. They should be top contenders in Boston next week. Also last weekend Hunter Bingham won his first major 1X race at Kings head.
Bri Ristau did it again with a win at kings head.
Coastweeks Regatta was once again a great event. RHS student Bri Ristau won her event beating a very strong field from New Cannan. Also rowing for EE was Elizibeth Parillo with 6th place. At 14yrs old she was the youngest in the race. She has a great future in the sport.

EER's 17 year old Dana Wolkiewicz picked up two 1st place medals in single sculls as a warmup to this fall's various scheduled "Head Races"
Dana rowed 2x1500 meters (with turn) in 14.23. for first place. She also won the 500 meter sprint race in 1 minute 53 seconds
Dana Wolkiewicz, 17, won first place in the "Kings Head" 4500 meter head race in single sculls against 10 other girls in the time of 21: 26. The event took place on the Schuylkill River.

against a field of 77. And Kate was 16th in a field of 40 in.

East End had a great weekend in
Philly With 4 rowers making the top 10. Kate Hale finished 4th with Dana close behind in 5th. Ed O Neil Finished 10th in a very tough race. Steve Gould finished 9th in the old mans race. Shorham wading river boys finished 12th in the double. Tim and Miles finished 21st in there first major race. Congratulations to all.

ISA Mercer Sprints 4/15/10

Last night Kate Hale and Dana Wolkiewicz finished first and second in
Varsity singles in their final during the 2010 Mercer Sprints in New
Jersey. The girls stepped into a double this morning and finished 1st.
in their final.
New EER members Travis Simon and Brian McCarthy rowed to a bronze in
their double last night after a snafu at the start. This morning
Travis and Brian won 1st place by 10 seconds claiming Gold. Attached

May 2nd LI Scholastic championships
Riverhead and Mercy crew had a good day of racing, showing lots of potential for the future. Lauren and Renee had a great race in windy conditions missing gold by 1 second. Eric Divan and Dan Oneill won easily in there first major race ( representing EER ).
